Like our water projects, our education programs and investments have helped tens of thousands of people in Fiji, a figure that continues to grow every month. To date, we have assisted over 100 schools in virtually every part of the country and plan to support at least 25 new ones each year. Through a variety of initiatives, we have reached more than 30,000 students, ranging from kindergarten-age children to teenagers and adults. Our projects vary widely and include constructing of new facilities such as kindergartens, schools, and boarding hostels, supplying schools with books and other materials, funding scholarships for children in underprivileged communities, and launching pilot programs to teach adults marketable skills to enable their financial independence.
